TO VEIL OR NOT TO VEIL?

Bird cage veils have become one of my favourite veil on the market right now. If you are wanting to wear something a little different, this style of veil is a great twist on tradition! Here are a few birdcage veils that I really love.

This is one of my favourites. Now this style isn't for everyone but if you can pull it off I say go for it!

Pure elegance!

I love love love bows! This veil speaks to me. The simplicity of it is perfection!

If you are looking for a great birdcage veil, allow me to suggest checking out Etsy.com. There are so many amazing independent designers available on this website who do incredible work. Check it out. You won't be disappointed!

MASON JARS?

This is definitely not a new idea but one that has been used in many ways over many years. Decorating with mason jars. Now I understand if you are thinking that decorating with mason jars is old fashion and not very modern but allow me to show you a few ways that you can use these jars to create classic, up to date, beautiful decor.

Candles + mason jars = PURE BEAUTY! I love the idea of hanging mason jars in a tree. It creates a beautiful, whimsical look.

Simple. Elegant. Romantic.
This is such a simple idea with huge impact. Understated beauty!

A fresh take on a "pew bow."

Why not use them as a drinking glass? How cute are these mason jars and straws!

I could not resist posting this picture! Mini pie in a mini mason jar. Absolutely adorable! What a great idea for a wedding/party favour!

BED AND BREAKFAST!

Ok Friends, it's time to for MSE to get back on the blogging train.

Here we go!

Two weekends ago we had the privilege to do a wedding in the Niagara Falls area. It was an amazing day! Because the wedding was out of our neck of the woods, the grooms parents graciously sent us to a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Here are just a few pictures of our weekend with many more to come!

This is the gorgeous Bed and Breakfast!

Marielle and I looking absolutely crazy! We were instructed to do this with our hair to gain volume. It actually worked! :)

Marielle and I looking a little bit less crazy. Look at those amazing earrings Marielle is rocking!

Boy has it been a LONG time since we've written a post! Life got a little insane when I (Marielle) was getting married on October 23rd 2010. My Sugar Events pulled out all the stops to make this wedding exactly what I wanted... What would I have done without my SugarMama Jennifer!? Everything you will see in this post was made and/or provided by My Sugar Events. This is just a little taste of what we can do for a wedding on a budget!
Enjoy Friends!
